Hello My People! I am beyond sorry for the lack of posts lately. My life has been a non-stop rollercoaster in so many different aspects. All the more reason for me to take a well needed vacay. I will be traveling to Accra, Ghana for Fashion and Design Week (GFDW)! I have never been to this beautiful country before and I am more than excited to experience all that it has to offer. The "Week" will begin on Oct. 5, 2012 and will consist of a two day spread of seminars, exhibitions, and fashion shows which will all be held at the luxurious Movenpick Ambassador Hotel. My editor for Africa Fashion Guide.com Jacqueline Shaw will be there as a panel speaker and has asked me to assist her backstage during the runway show of her organic African cotton T-shirt collection! I am supper amped and can't wait to share the experience with you. For more info about GFDW click here.

Korto Momolu Ready to Wear Collection NYC Fashion Week

It’s September, and we all know what that mean, its New York Fashion Week time! If you frequent my blog you know that I have been wondering where my girl Korto Momolu has been hiding. Well, she has finally revealed herself, and will be unveiling her knew “Ready to Wear” Collection for Spring/Summer 2013 tomorrow September 7th. The event will be held at Helen Mills and this is the first ready-to-wear collection for the designer.  According to this year’s fashion show producer and stylist Arnold Milfort “This collection is very refreshing. I think people are going to be surprised and inspired by what [Korto] has to show this season.”

I don’t know about you guys, but I’m super excited to see what’s in store. Below is a pic of one of the pieces from the collection. Korto was also selected to design part of a capsule collection for Lord & Taylor to Celebrate Project Runway’s 10 Year Anniversary. See pic below.

Sexy Singles' Night Out

Sexy Singles' Night Out

This post is for all my (dare I use the phrase) “Single Ladies”. Since recently becoming a part of the demographic I am coping with going out alone or with my fabulous friends. With this said, here is your dose of what can be worn on a “Sexy Single Night Out”. I chose this sexy metallic dress which I find to be a serious show stopper. A dress like this will have everyone’s eyes on you and your hot body. I love these shoes mainly for the color, but mostly for the little gold skull above the peep toe. I like to think that it belongs to my ex (a little morbid? Sorry, but we all know how that goes) either way these heels kill ;0). Every girl likes chunky jewelry, well at least I do, they make a statement every time. This heart shape clutch is so sweet, and can be used as a reminder that love will come into your life again. Smokey eyes add a little bit of danger to your look, and falsies easily sexes up the eyes. With metallic nails and a pink pout you, Ms. Sexiness, are ready for a night out on the town. Enjoy!
