Hey Loves! Project Fame is now on and YES we have a Liberian reppin' us! Pictured above is 19 year old Musulyn Myers or as we here in Liberia call her Sweetz. She holds the title of "The First Lady" of Blue Links Records with some of the members including Cypha D'King, F.A., and DJ Blue. This talented little lady's voice is truly one of a kind and we look forward to seeing her win this thing. VOTE FOR SWEETZ!

I personally love this jumper, but boyfriend and fab friend Latifa hate it…LOL! I designed the look myself and had my tailor construct it for me. I wore it with chunky earth tone bangles, my infamous gold belt, and gold sandals. What do you guys think?

Walk About: Marazetti Boutique

My good friend Toushi and I moseyed over to Monrovia City’s center to inquire about free makeup consultations at Marazetti. I have featured the brand’s website and trunk shows many times here on the blog, but what makes this post different is that Fanta Kamara (founder of Marazetti) has now opened a hot new boutique. When Toushi and I walked in we were completely taken aback by the whole experience. Pieces found in the store are edgy, chic, eye catching and fierce. Fanta revealed that she tries her hardest to sell one of kind pieces. With Liberia being so small us fashionistas don’t want to see others wearing the same outfits as us, right? What’s wonderful about the space is the metallic-grunge design that is totally different from any place I’ve seen here in Liberia. Though we went in for makeup consultations featuring MAC products, we shopped instead!  We’ll be back for our makeovers Fanta!

Pink, Blue, and a Divine Pout

Hello Loves! This outfit is ideal for a day at the beach with friends. To add coverage to my mid-section I decided to throw on some high waisted paper bag shorts to give off a sexy yet put together look. I wore a chunky necklace and bracelets to add texture and a bit more color, and my gold backpack which goes with almost everything I own. On my lips is “Divine” by Cover Girl, long lasting lipstick that can take me from day to night.

Zutin: 1847&Co.

So my people, do we see the next Korto Momolu in our sights? I’ll let you be the judge. Designer of the label 1847&Co. Gbelley “T-Girl” Taylor debuted at Dayton (Ohio U.S.A) Fashion Week at the beginning of this month. The Liberian born artist is now based in Pennsylvania, and found inspiration in objects that symbolize music and movement for her designs. It was said that the African instrument known as the calabash stimulated the shapes, draping and silhouettes of the garments. The prints and colors of these outfits are sure to make a statement in the fashion world. LIB let’s get it, it’s ours!

Zutin: Siatta Jeans

Today's Zutin post features Siatta Jeans, a New York based company established in 2005. Siatta, a Liberian native and lover of fashion and denim decided to embark upon this journey due to the low supply of jeans for curvy women. The company carries jeans from size 0 to 18, and deliver "high quality made especially for a chic, savvy, sophisticated and confident woman. The org. also plans on expanding their product line to include loungewear, handbags, jewelry and accessories in the near future. Sitatta Jeans can be found in Monrovia, Liberia at Siatta Style Boutique, and at retails locations in Ghana, and certain states of the U.S. East coast.

What I love most is that Siatta named some of her jeans after some of the counties of Liberia. For more info about Siatta Jeans click here
